Top 5 YouTube Channels Right Now

Hello, hello, hello! This is a post that I am incredibly excited to talk about. YouTube has become one of my favorite content platforms. Let's face it. We're constantly consuming content. It can be from television, social media, radio, or YouTube (my personal favorite).

Most of the time, I try to watch relaxing, cooking, cleaning, or gaming and review videos. This is my go-to for when I need information. The channels that I have been watching recently are just all across the board with my interests. There is something for everyone on this list!

The channels include mukbangs, family vlogs, wedding planning, horror reviews and listings, and gaming. Like I said... there's something for everyone. Let's get into it! (these are in no order-they're all my current favorites)

1. The Crunch Bros

This dad and son duo melt my heart with every video. They started their channel back in May 2020 to help spread some happiness at the beginning of the US quarantine. They say that it was a way for friends and family to see what they were up to!

Needless to say, the channel blew up from ASMR mukbangs to just relaxed eating with the antics of Jordan (the son) and his dad, Crunch Dad. They are very humorous, and I spend most of the time laughing so hard that I have to rewatch the video the next day to catch the updates on their lives and the delicious food!

Jordan is well-known for hilarious one-liners to his spicy food eating Crunch Dad. Some of my favorite videos are the "Roulette" challenges that Crunch Mom, who is mainly behind the scenes, puts together to trick Crunch Dad into eating fish paste and wasabi. The timely comedic subtitles from Crunch Mom add another layer of laughter.

This duo have grown quickly from the beginning, but their genuine interest in food and each other keep me coming back week after week with many rewatches! Also, Jordan started his own channel, EasyPeasyJordan, where he bakes and cooks many items that are featured in the main channel mukbangs.

2. Possessed By Horror

Sarah Hawkinson is one of my favorite YouTubers! She has a following, but isn't one of the stereotypical content creators that you see hitting it really big in L.A. She is genuine, modest, and interesting.

I watch all three of her channels. She has a main channel, vlog channel, and her horror channel. One of my most watched YouTube channels right now has to be her horror channel. She often uploads "Best and Worst" lists, reviews, and commentaries.

She has the type of voice that is soothing to listen to. She goes into detail about the craftsmanship of horror films, and it sheds a new light on the movies. Her range from when she started to now is impeccable. She works hard on her videos, and she has a lot of information to share.

If you enjoy watching horror films, I absolutely recommend her channel because she has interesting and uncommon views. She loves camping and teen horror. And...on a side note, she has gorgeous cats and red hair! :)

3. Colleen Ballinger

This one is going to be surprising to many because I am not a huge fan of comedy. With that being said, I do not always watch the Miranda Sings character because I am rarely in the mood to watch comedy. However, I LOVE to watch family and lifestyle vlogs.

One of my most watched YouTube channels right now is Colleen Ballinger's vlog channel. She has been impressively vlogging everyday since, I believe, December 2019 (now December 29, 2020). She has been consistent enjoyment since quarantine started in the US.

Her videos consist of her family's fun adventures, everyday life, and all the wild creations Colleen can come up with for her son, Flynn. Her ideas and creativity have me constantly wondering if she's for hire to plan my birthday parties! She's a loving mother and wife, a successful business woman, and an incredible role model.

I have been binging her pregnancy videos recently because it really makes me wonder how she did it. Her pregnancy was tough on her body, and she was in severe pain everyday. Watching her go through that pregnancy, it gives me confidence to appreciate and love my body.

Her husband, Erik, is as hilarious as she is when he pops in to make fun of something on Tik Tok or add in a hipster comment. It's a great dynamic, and I will continue watching for a long time. They are working on a podcast for the upcoming year (2021), and the teaser had me laughing hysterically. Go check out all the channels above.

I also linked her bother's family channel because their children are the most heart-warming people on this planet. They are wonderful parents, and they deserve to be added in as a bonus channel!

4. WeKanGame

This channel is one of my favorites for "Let's Plays." I always go back to watch his Left 4 Dead series. I have been listening to this series over and over again because he does a great job at giving background information.

I have heard so many people say that Left 4 Dead is boring because there's no storyline. Well, that's just wrong. The developers put a lot of time and effort into making the story through the levels, but most people just "Run and Gun" their way through it trying to get the most infected or special infected kills. Andrew does a thorough job at giving the background to all characters and showing nuances found within the levels.

This is a great channel to watch and follow along or listen to when you've already played the games. He has a nice informational aspect to his videos.

It's a bummer that he doesn't post on a regular schedule, but his videos are well-worth going back to check them out!

5. Jamie Wolfer

Jamie Wolfer has been a favorite of mine since December 18, 2019. That was the day I got engaged. I was so incredibly happy, so I immediately started planning. Her main channel is wedding planning galore which is so extremely helpful for brides really doing most of the planning by themselves.

She is a hilarious California native that just moved her self, her family, and part of her business to Texas! The family is living their ranching dreams, and you can see it through their second vlogging channel. I just finished watching their "Vlogmas" videos. I can tell you right now, you won't stop laughing at Elias, her husband.

Back to her wedding channel, the videos are easy to understand, very helpful and information packed, and they are able to be consumed in small portions. The videos are not very long, and it helps when trying to plan in short bursts in a busy life. It's definitely worth checking out!

SO MANY BONUS CHANNELS INCLUDED! :)

My favorite and most watched channels tend to change often, but they cycle back around to my tried and true! I'm always interested in finding new channels to watch. I definitely prefer channels that post regularly. The channels above are great starting points, and they might be your new favorite. If you have any ideas or other channels, let me know! Enjoy watching. XOXO :)
